Every year I look so forward to opening our ornament box. It is like opening a box of treasured memories. Each year a few more are added to the collection and this year was no exception. The Ale 8 bottle ornament was given to me by my mother in law. Ale 8 is a soft drink that is made in my husband's hometown. The "He hunts therefore I shop" ornament was given to me by my sister in law. She knows me so well! It should say, "He hunts therefore we shop!". The glass New York will be a reminder of the wonderful trip we had to NYC this fall. Hannah received several new ones as well. Lucy's chocolate factory will help us remember what a terrific Lucy she was at Halloween and I glittered the "H" to adorn one of her birthday gifts. The monogrammed ball is a sample of the ornament that we attached to all of her birthday invitations. I am sad that it is time to close up the box yet again. I wonder what momentos will be added to the collection next year.
He hunts therefore we shop and buy the craziest things and find the best bargins! He should appreciate our outings together - I help save him money. ha ha
